We’re thrilled to recognize Mark and Lisa Luttmann for their incredible dedication to WRWA!
Lisa first began visiting Westport with her family in 1975, and in 2022 she and Mark made it their full-time home. The two met at Penn State University, married in 1990, and raised two sons before heading to California to work in tech. Lisa built a career in sales and customer success with companies including Epson, Toshiba, and digital marketing agencies. While Mark, who holds a degree in biology, is currently a research program manager with the COPD Foundation, following a 30-year career in respiratory drug discovery at GSK. They fully embrace life on the river, enjoying boating, fishing/crabbing, surfing, swimming, yoga, and community events around town.
Mark and Lisa are truly a dream team in support of WRWA’s projects and mission. Lisa has played a key role in our Gala and Silent Auction, serving as Auction Committee Chair in 2024 and again this year for our 50th anniversary. Mark’s background in watershed ecology and science makes him a valued member of both our Science and Advocacy Committees. Together, they also work endlessly behind the scenes to support events and ensure our annual gala is a success. Outside of WRWA, you may see them hosting a weekly Open Mic night at Buzzards Bay Brewery, and Mark’s local gigs with the band Last Day on Earth.
We are so grateful for their energy, expertise, and unwavering commitment to WRWA. Thank you, Mark and Lisa! 💙
