The Westport River Watershed Alliance (WRWA) is seeking a new Executive Director to lead its mission of protecting and preserving the Westport River Watershed. Established in 1976, WRWA is a prominent environmental nonprofit with over 1,500 members, dedicated to clean water, healthy ecosystems, and community stewardship. The Executive Director will oversee a staff of seven, manage an annual operating budget nearing $800,000, and work closely with a 15-member Board of Directors. Key responsibilities include advancing science-based advocacy, expanding educational programs that engage over 2,000 students annually, and fostering community partnerships. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of senior leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit management, and a strong commitment to environmental conservation.
